Farmington Community Christmas Event Friday
COOKIES
Homemade cookies in over a dozen varieties are always a hit at the Farmington Fire Department Christmas gathering for the community, and attendees enjoy them while standing in line for Santa or just visiting with friends.

An Open House scheduled Friday night, Dec. 15 at the Farmington firehouse will feature a special guest.

The fire station, at the corner of Highway 4 and Escalon-Bellota Road in Farmington, will open its doors to all in the community and the surrounding areas, starting at 6:30 p.m.

There will be homemade cookies and refreshments provided, holiday music and, at 7 p.m., Santa Claus will arrive. He is ‘flying in’ on a fire engine, officials said, and will stop at the firehouse to pose for photos and visit with youngsters to hear their Christmas wishes. All children in attendance will also receive a gift.

The Farmington Fire Department has hosted this annual Christmas gathering for years, encouraging everyone to stop by for some homemade sweet treats, visiting with friends and neighbors, and sharing the sentiments of the holiday season.
