Escalon Presbyterian Serves Up Free Dinner And Concert

All in the community are invited to attend a free dinner, concert and dessert event on Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Escalon Presbyterian Church. The evening will feature Jon Byron in concert.

The night begins with a free dinner served at 6 p.m., the concert at 6:30 p.m., followed by dessert.

A free-will offering will be received and Jon Byron CDs will be available for purchase.

Byron, a gifted singer/songwriter, conference speaker, and spiritual director, is able to combine gentle humor, strong Biblical content and practical application into encouraging messages of hope. Using these gifts, he presently travels and serves on behalf of Press Pause Ministries, Inc., encouraging people to pause and experience God’s transforming presence. He has ministered nationally and internationally through concerts, teaching, evangelizing, and spiritual direction. He has written and produced several recordings including his most recent, “All I Really Need.” Among his other activities he is a founding member of The Leadership Institute and presently serves on the faculty.

Byron is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary and the Monastery of the Risen Christ School for Spiritual Directors. He is married to Francie and they have three children and eight grandchildren.
