Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 30 calls for service during the period of Monday, Aug. 19 through Sunday, Aug. 25. Calls included:

SUNDAY, AUG. 25

1:22 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, River Road, cross of Santa Fe. Possible accident reported in the area; crews located a damaged stop sign but no vehicle on scene. Public Works also notified.

4:10 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 1400 block Miller.

10 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

3:11 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Escalon-Bellota and Dodds; provided assistance to Farmington Fire District on scene.

3:48 p.m. – Lift assist, 400 block Farinelli Parkway.

4:16 p.m. – EMS call, Jackson Avenue, cross of Second.

7:19 p.m. – EMS, 1600 block Main.

7:31 p.m. – Possible river rescue, McHenry cross of River Road. Assisted Modesto Fire with possible rescue effort, unable to locate anything in the area.

SATURDAY, AUG. 24

2:07 a.m. – EMS call, 1600 block Pioneer.

5:14 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block Concord Court.

11:16 p.m. – Assist to Escalon Community Ambulance, 22000 block East River Road.

FRIDAY, AUG. 23

12:12 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Brennan and Lone Tree. Crews assisted medics on scene of a single vehicle accident, car off the roadway; driver complained of rib and arm pain.

2:57 a.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Jackson.

8:57 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, 13000 block Escalon-Bellota Road; assisted medics with one patient on scene. Units also cleaned debris and contained fluid spilled on the roadway.

9:54 a.m. – EMS, 1700 block Baker.

10:14 a.m. – Vegetation fire reported, 21000 block East River Road; units responded to the scene and located a permitted burn.

10:23 p.m. – Lift assist, 20000 block Dahlin.

THURSDAY, AUG. 22

8:34 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon.

7:43 p.m. – EMS, 17000 block Carrolton Road.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 21

8:04 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Highway 120 and McHenry; one minor injury reported, assisted police with traffic control on scene. Two vehicles involved with northbound lanes blocked.

11:14 a.m. – EMS call, 16000 block Lawrence Road.

TUESDAY, AUG. 20

7:34 a.m. – EMS call, 1600 block Mitchell.

2:58 p.m. – EMS, 20000 block Highway 120.

8:36 p.m. – Lift assist, 30000 block Grooms Road.

MONDAY, AUG. 19

1:23 a.m. – Vegetation fire, 26000 block Buerer Lane; Engine 1-1 dispatched to the scene, located drift smoke in the area but no fire.

3:20 a.m. – EMS call, 21000 block Santa Fe.

11:18 a.m. – EMS, 29000 block River Road.

3:48 p.m. – EMS, 1400 block Miller.

4:56 p.m. – EMS, 400 block Cardinal.

7:52 p.m. – Lift assist, 29000 block Orange Avenue.
