Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 31 calls for service during the period of Monday, July 21 through Sunday, July 27. Calls included:

SUNDAY, JULY 27

12:25 a.m. – Vegetation fire, 24000 block East Mariposa Road; dispatched for a possible structure fire, crews arrived on scene and found a large brush pile on fire. No structures threatened, scene turned over to homeowner.

3:05 a.m. – Lift assist, 2100 block Ashwood.

8:54 a.m. – Lift assist, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

11:40 a.m. – Lift assist, 25000 block East Deck Road.

12:45 p.m. – Vegetation fire, 16000 block Lawrence Road; small outside fire, extinguished by property owner.

3:15 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Santa Fe and Harrold; single vehicle into a power pole with one minor patient transported by Escalon Community Ambulance. Scene turned over to CHP.

3:42 p.m. – Smoke seen in the area, Santa Fe and Harrold; unable to locate.

9:15 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1900 block Judith Court; alarm set off by cooking, no fire.

SATURDAY, JULY 26

3:40 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 2000 block California.

11:14 a.m. – EMS call, 2000 block Yosemite.

3:21 p.m. – EMS, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

3:52 p.m. – EMS, 30000 block East Dutra Lane.

FRIDAY, JULY 25

6:07 a.m. – EMS call, 22000 block Henry Road.

7:09 a.m. – Lift assist, 2000 block California.

9:39 a.m. – EMS, 16000 block South Escalon-Bellota Road.

9:56 a.m. – Lift assist, 2000 block California.

10:30 a.m. – EMS, 19000 block Harrold.

THURSDAY, JULY 24

7:37 a.m. – EMS call, 2200 block Main.

8:52 a.m. – Vehicle fire, Highway 120 and Sexton; responded for a vehicle fire, arrived and found brakes overheating on the vehicle.

1:20 p.m. – EMS, 23000 block Santa Fe; canceled prior to arrival.

1:44 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, 1500 block Main; vehicle into a building, checked for injuries. Determined to be non-injury with cosmetic damage only to building.

2:04 p.m. – Vegetation fire, 16000 block Steinegul; arrived on scene and located an out-of-control controlled burn with roughly a quarter-acre involved. Crews extinguished fire.

5:08 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block of Escalon Avenue.

11:35 a.m. – EMS, 25000 block Magnolia.
