Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 26 calls for service during the period of Monday, May 26 through Sunday, June 1. Calls included:

SUNDAY, JUNE 1

10:31 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 30000 block East Hall Road.

4:23 p.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Mission Street.

7:36 p.m. – Smoke investigation, River Road, cross of Henry; canceled due to the smoke coming from the Stanislaus County side of the river.

7:56 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 18000 block Van Allen Road, south side; determined to be a false alarm.

8:08 p.m. – River bottom fire reported, McHenry and River; assisted Modesto Fire Department crews on scene.

SATURDAY, MAY 31

3:10 p.m. – EMS call, 1100 block La Mesa.

4:11 p.m. – Possible water rescue, 24000 block of River Road; responded to scene along the Stanislaus River and found two people out of the water, no injuries. San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department boating unit brought subjects to the boat ramp.

4:55 p.m. – EMS, 19000 block Santa Fe Road.

FRIDAY, MAY 30

6:52 a.m. – EMS call, 2300 block Autumn Lane.

12:53 p.m. – Structure fire reported, 14000 block Carrolton Road; responded and found an oven fire on scene, extinguished fire and set up ventilation system to remove smoke from the residence.

5:50 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported, 19000 block Harrold; responded and located a solo vehicle blocking the roadway, determined to be non-injury accident, crews stayed on scene until the arrival of CHP.

THURSDAY, MAY 29

4:08 p.m. – EMS call, 1000 block Escalon Avenue.

5:42 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported, River Road, west of McHenry Avenue. Two vehicles involved, reported as non-injury; crews swept the roadway and turned the scene over to CHP.

7:41 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block Autumnwood Court.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 28

4:33 a.m. – Vegetation fire, Sutliff, cross of Highway 120; small roadside grass fire, extinguished by fire personnel.

6:46 a.m. – EMS call, 21000 block South Sexton Road.

10:43 a.m. – EMS, 1900 block Roosevelt.

11:36 a.m. – EMS, 1400 block Roosevelt.

3:30 p.m. – EMS, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

4:28 p.m. – EMS, McHenry Avenue, cross of Jones.

7:50 p.m. – EMS, 2200 block Yosemite.

TUESDAY, MAY 27

12:09 p.m. – Report of wires down, 26000 block East Buerer Lane. Unable to locate.

12:46 p.m. – EMS call, 24000 block East Mariposa.

2:48 p.m. – EMS, 1100 block California Street.

MONDAY, MAY 26

8:41 a.m. – Hay fire, 27000 block East Dodds Road; assist to Farmington Fire District.

9:19 p.m. – Vegetation fire, Highway 120 cross of Hazelhurst; determined to be controlled burn, extinguished by fire personnel.
