Escalon Fire Calls 6-1-22

Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 24 calls for service during the period of Monday, May 23 through Sunday, May 29. Calls included:

SUNDAY, MAY 29

7:40 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 17000 block Haskell Lane.

8:25 a.m. – EMS call, 16000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.

4:18 p.m. – Several vegetation fires reported along Grooms Road, vehicle accident in area resulted in vehicle losing a front tire and driving on the rim only, sparking several fires along a half-mile stretch of roadway.

6:09 p.m. – EMS, 1500 block Michelle Way, Farmington unit responded for coverage due to Escalon crews being on vegetation fire call.

SATURDAY, MAY 28

10:15 a.m. – Electrical hazard, water leaking on outlet, 1200 block Plaza.

11:26 a.m. – EMS call, 2300 block California.

6:48 p.m. – EMS, 15000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.

9:37 p.m. – Mutual aid, water tender sent to Ripon for a vegetation fire, Mello Road and Williams Way.

FRIDAY, MAY 27

12:22 p.m. – EMS call, 2100 block Coley.

1:19 p.m. – Vegetation fire, 16000 block Seidner; vegetation along property lines started due to controlled burn.

3:43 p.m. – EMS call, 17000 block Van Allen.

4:04 p.m. – Mutual aid to Farmington, assist on vegetation fire on Copperopolis Road.

6:39 p.m. – EMS, 2000 block McHenry; canceled prior to arrival.

THURSDAY, MAY 26

10:15 a.m. – Mutual aid to Ripon Fire Department, automatic aid to River and Murphy roads on solo vehicle accident, reported as vehicle into a power pole.

1:10 p.m. – EMS call, 1500 block Main.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 25

12:10 a.m. – Vehicle accident, Dodds and Escalon-Bellota, vehicle struck power line transmission tower; reported to be non-injury.

9:58 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

7:01 p.m. – EMS, 2500 block Jackson.

TUESDAY, MAY 24

4:05 a.m. – Vehicle accident, Lone Tree cross of Henry, vehicle overturned into a field, determined to be non-injury.

9:13 a.m. – EMS call, 31000 block Combs.

10:37 a.m. – EMS, 1300 block Miller.

11:22 a.m. – EMS, 1300 block Escalon Avenue; canceled prior to arrival.

MONDAY, MAY 23

4:27 p.m. – Vehicle accident, Dodds and Escalon-Bellota roads; canceled prior to arrival.
