Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 22 calls for service during the period of Monday, Feb. 7 through Sunday, Feb. 13. Calls included:

SUNDAY, FEB. 13

2:28 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 400 block Noni.

7:35 p.m. – EMS call, 25000 block Magnolia.

SATURDAY, FEB. 12

9:37 a.m. – Manpower assist to Escalon Ambulance, 13000 block Brennan.

10:22 a.m. – EMS call, 400 block Noni.

1:24 p.m. – Lift assist, 25000 block Magnolia.

1:54 p.m. – Lift assist, 2200 block Mission.

4:34 p.m. – Vehicle accident, 24000 block River; report of an ATV flipped over, rider transported to San Joaquin General Hospital.

8:16 p.m. – Vehicle accident, Mariposa and Escalon-Bellota roads, single vehicle overturned with two occupants; driver then assaulted and carjacked a vehicle from a party that stopped to see if they needed help. The passenger in the crashed vehicle was transported to San Joaquin General Hospital with minor injuries and the scene turned over to CHP.

8:22 p.m. – Vehicle accident, Escalon Avenue and Miller; suspect in the prior carjacking incident crashed the vehicle into a power pole with lines down. Suspect fled scene and was later located by authorities and placed under arrest.

FRIDAY, FEB. 11

12:19 a.m. – Lift assist, 2500 block Jackson.

12:36 p.m. – Vehicle accident, Cometa and Henry; solo vehicle rollover.

5:20 p.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Jackson.

7:09 p.m. – EMS, 1300 block James.

THURSDAY, FEB. 10

5:49 a.m. – Vehicle accident, Carrolton and Ayers; two vehicles involved, reported as non-injury.

9:31 a.m. – EMS call, 1200 block Clough.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 9

1:25 a.m. – Gasoline spill, 2200 block Jackson.

7:03 a.m. – EMS call, 18000 block Brennan.

2:13 p.m. – EMS, 23000 block Santa Fe; canceled on scene.

TUESDAY, FEB. 8

2:29 a.m. – EMS call, 1300 block Kern.

3:42 p.m. – Vegetation fire reported, 24000 block River Road; small fire near river, extinguished.

5:20 p.m. – Vehicle accident, 21000 block Henry; solo dirt bike accident, off road, one injured party transported to San Joaquin General Hospital.

1:02 p.m. – EMS call, 17000 block Sexton.
