Escalon FFA Gathers For Carnival Meeting
h tips

It was a meeting with a fun aspect included as well.

On Wednesday, Oct. 13, the Escalon FFA Chapter had their second meeting of the year. We had over 170 students in attendance. We had the meeting itself, a costume contest, and a Halloween Carnival.

We were able to take the time and recognize all of our freshmen that attended the Greenhand Leadership Conference last week. After the business portion of the meeting, students headed over to the carnival.

The carnival was put on by the agriculture leadership class. Each student was in charge of a booth and the students did a great job of planning such a fun event. Some of the booths were a spooky nacho bar, balloon darts, corn hole, pumpkin launching, fish ping pong, cotton candy, and “Guess How Many Candies Are in the Jar.”

Students also competed in a costume contest. Our costume contest winners were Randy Stevens, Trent Powell, and Joey Dutra. We appreciate all of the fun and festive costumes students wore. Our officer team dressed up as the famous singer, Pitbull. The students were able to eat, have fun, take photos in the photo booth, and even win goldfish. We had so much fun at our meeting and appreciate all students in attendance. The chapter would like to thank Fresh Point Produce for the pumpkins. We are looking forward to our next meeting in November.
