Escalon Covenant Church Extends Helping Hand

Staff members at Escalon Covenant Church are offering services to the community – in the form of running errands or picking up some groceries for those who can’t get out to do it for themselves.

“If you are alone, or feeling alone during this season, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Perhaps you have some practical needs such as groceries or running errands. Maybe you would like someone to talk to or pray with you. The ECC Staff is available to help,” church officials said in a statement.

The church can be reached by calling 209-838-7600. You can also email your request to: office@escaloncovenant.org

In addition to the assistance being offered, especially looking to help those who need to shelter in place, the church now has its services livestreamed. The Sunday livestream starts at 9:45 a.m. and the service at 10 a.m.; the church will also have a special Good Friday service on April 10 beginning at 6 p.m.; go to https://www.escaloncovenant.org/Livestream.

Many local churches, in fact, are utilizing social media to broadcast Sunday services and plan to do so for Easter Sunday, April 1. Additional information is available on individual church websites.
