A Fairfield woman was booked at San Joaquin County Jail after Escalon Police picked her up on three misdemeanor warrants on July 30.
Two of the warrants were no bail, the other one was for $35,000.
Police said the woman was observed in the 1900 block of McHenry, sitting on the curb and leaning up against a bus stop sign shortly after 7:30 a.m.
Officers stopped to see if the woman needed any assistance and discovered the warrants. She had one no bail court order violation warrant out of the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department and one for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or co-habitant, and a $35,000 possession of paraphernalia warrant out of the Stockton Police Department.
The 37-year-old woman, who said she was from Fairfield, was taken to jail on the warrants.
Escalon Police also added a count of possession of paraphernalia.
Earlier in the week, officers met with Oakdale Police at the county line at Highway 120 and Victory, with Oakdale officers turning over an Oakdale man they picked up on Escalon warrants.
Officers met about 2:45 p.m. on July 28, with the 24-year-old Oakdale man booked at county jail on two no bail failure to appear at jail warrants. The original charges he faced were misdemeanors, one for battery and one a traffic violation, but failed to turn himself in at jail in those cases.
