The Escalon Lions Club is gearing up for its annual St Patrick’s Corned Beef and Cabbage Feed as a drive-thru dinner and raffle fundraiser at the Escalon Community Center on Saturday, March 13. Drive-thru pick-up of dinners is scheduled between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

“While we were hoping to be in a position to host the dinner indoors as in the past, we were forced to downsize to maintain COVID protocols but still be able to provide this popular fundraising event to the community,” explained club president Mike Powers.

Dinners are available for $15 each. All proceeds will go to providing scholarships for graduating Escalon High School seniors and to the various charities the Lions Club supports in the area. Guaranteed dinner tickets can be purchased at D’Boni’s Pizza, Main Street Garage and Escalon Body and Frame. Tickets can also be ordered via email at EscalonLionsClub@gmail.com. All dinners must be purchased in advance to guarantee everyone who purchases dinners will have them hot and ready when they arrive for pick-up.

“Each ticket purchased will be eligible for a chance in the drawing for the door prize. In addition, the Lions Club will be offering our popular raffle prizes with tickets available to be purchased on site in quantities of 11 tickets for $10 or 26 tickets for $20,” added Powers. “Time is short so pick up or order your tickets before Friday, March 12.”
