As summer gets into full swing, Representative Josh Harder (CA-9) is encouraging families to check the expiration dates on their passports if they plan to travel internationally this summer. Last year, severe delays in processing passport renewals and new applications caused many families to nearly miss travel plans. Rep. Harder’s office is available to help San Joaquin County residents with issues navigating federal agencies, including delays with passports.
“Summer is here and if you’re spending your time and hard-earned money on a family vacation, make sure a passport issue isn’t going to ruin it at the last minute,” said Rep. Harder. “My office helped a lot of folks with major passport delays last year, and we’re always here to help if you’re at risk of missing a trip. But I highly recommend checking your passport’s expiration date early to save yourself the stress and worry.”
