BUY A BRICK
bricks

The Escalon Historical Society continues to sell bricks for its Main Street monument, commemorating Escalon’s First Fire Station. The monument was originally dedicated in 2011, so is fast approaching its 10-year anniversary. Bricks can be purchased in honor of local businesses, organizations, family members or friends; there is no requirement to have been involved in firefighting. The buy-a-brick fundraiser is a way to support the historical society and museum while honoring Escalon’s history. For additional information, visit www.escalonhistoricalmuseum.org or call 209-838-8070. The museum, at 1630 Main Street, is not open for regular hours as a result of pandemic, but volunteers do respond to calls and emails.
