Trenton Berchtold, a senior at Escalon High School, was recently recognized with the Rotary Student of the Month honor, nominated by teacher Andrew Beam for the award.

“Trenton has been outstanding in the early part of this school year in terms of participation, work ethic, and the testing that has taken place in AP Psychology,” explained Beam. “Trenton works extremely hard on his school work and is actively always trying to improve.”

A member of the CSF, California Scholarship Federation, he also plays tennis for Escalon, is a three-time Scholar Athlete winner, received a 10th grade counselor award, an academic award for AP U.S. History and a varsity athletic award.

“I would like to thank mom for helping me through all of this,” Berchtold said.

Beam added that the senior asks questions when he needs clarification and “does not settle for uncertainty” in the accumulation of the Psychology curriculum.

“Trenton’s peers respect and appreciate his involvement in class and I very much look forward to the rest of this school year with him,” said Beam.
