The annual Armed Forces Day breakfast put on by the Escalon American Legion Post and Legion Riders was hosted at the Legion Hall on Saturday, May 18. Diners enjoyed the pancakes, ham, linguica, eggs and beverages served up in style by Legion members, including Angelo Blanco, dishing out the scrambled eggs. For many, it was the first time they had a chance to see the newly renovated Legion Hall on Second Street and Legion officials reported a steady stream of attendees for the breakfast.
