The San Joaquin County Agricultural Hall of Fame, now in its 38th year, has announced its 2023 inductees.
This year’s Hall of Fame inductees are: Dr. Marit Arana, A.L. Gilbert Company; Eugene (Gene) Wallom, Lodi Farming Inc.; Marden Wilbur, Lane Ranches; and Edward Alfred Zuckerman, Zuckerman Family Farms; with posthumous honorees Marc R. Marchini and Chester “Bud” Rolland Murphy.
The Agricultural Hall of Fame honors those individuals who have contributed to agriculture and to their community in significant ways. The honorees will be recognized at the annual Agricultural Hall of Fame Banquet, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 at the Robert J. Cabral Ag Center, 2101 E. Earhart Ave., Stockton. Tickets are $65 each, prepaid reservations only. The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m.
