Coming up the weekend of March 23 and 24, it’s the Tuolumne Antique Fair, set up at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall in Tuolumne. Hours are Saturday, March 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Preview admission is $5, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday; after that, there is free admission for all.

The Memorial Hall Antique Fair is produced by two sisters: Kristen Kestly and Jennifer Agnes under the business name Vault Art. The sisters put together two shows a year: one in the spring and another usually mid-October. The two-day Antique Fair is held in the Veteran’s Memorial Hall located in the center of the small town of Tuolumne, approximately eight miles east of Sonora. The address is 18375 Fir St., just a half mile south of the Black Oak Casino.

The first hour of the antique fair on Saturday morning is a preview, which has proven popular with serious buyers in years past. Buyers pay $5 for the privilege of shopping that first hour in a less crowded environment. Organizers open the hall for set-up by the vendors at 1 p.m. the Friday before and finish the set-up day at 7 p.m.

The doors open for the preview Saturday, March 23 at 8 a.m. and to all at 9 a.m.; there will be antiques, vintage and repurposed items, offering up a wide variety to peruse and buy.
