The Stanislaus County Fair has announced recent improvements to the digital board on the northeast corner of the fairgrounds near the corner of Fulkerth Road and Golden State Boulevard in Turlock.

The new LED board is community driven; with its key purpose being a resource for information on upcoming events or a place to advertise community announcements. Oak Valley Community Bank has sponsored the enhanced LED board.

“We are pleased to lend a hand toward the restoration of the fair’s digital billboard. The fair is a longstanding iconic community event, bringing together ag education, family values, and quality entertainment each year,” stated Oak Valley Community Bank, President and CEO, Chris Courtney.

The LED board was constructed and installed by USS United Sign Systems out of Modesto, while employing the software from Watchfire Creative Services.

“The new LED board is state-of the-art and a direct reflection of the progressive approach the fair board and front office has taken in their adoption of technology to promote and manage the annual event. In addition to obvious ‘fair time’ uses, the sign provides year-round versatility to the fair, and community as a whole,” added Oak Valley, VP/Marketing Manager, Bill Nunes.

County Fair officials are eager to put the enhanced LED board in use for upcoming community events, as well as during fair time. The community is invited to take advantage of the advertising and promotional potential the LED board has to offer.

“We value our partnerships and the opportunities they create for the community and the fair. We are particularly grateful that Oak Valley was able to assist with the cost of the LED board to help improve our efforts in community involvement,” said Matt Cranford, Chief Executive Officer for the Stanislaus County Fair.

Community businesses can utilize the LED board for promotional or advertising purposes. For additional information, contact the Stanislaus County Fair office at 209-668-1333.
