SAN FRANCISCO –   – PIER 39’s 39-week anniversary celebration is wrapping up with a bang this October.

*Fleet Week Celebration at PIER 39 – Thursday, Oct. 5 – Monday, Oct. 9
Fleet Week is the Bay Area’s opportunity to pay tribute to the men and women of our Nation’s armed forces.  This spectacular event features a parade of ships, ship tours and an impressive air show that includes the Blue Angels.  PIER 39 joins the celebration with live entertainment from local and military bands, interactive exhibits and more, plus the chance to meet the Blue Angels on Saturday, Oct. 7 from approximately 6:15 to 6:45p.m.   

*Reverse Happy Hour – Friday, Oct. 13
Sip the night away with Reverse Happy Hour discounts at participating PIER 39 businesses from 8 p.m. until close.  For more information and to see the full list of discounts, visit pier39.com.

*39th Birthday Bash – Saturday, Oct. 14
Put on your party hats and head to The PIER to celebrate PIER 39’s 39th birthday.  From 5 to 10 p.m., enjoy roving glow-in-the-dark entertainment, DJs, a silent disco, and a live performance by The Party Crashers.  At  9 p.m., the fun-filled evening under the stars culminates with PIER 39’s spectacular fireworks show over San Francisco Bay.   .

Pier 39 is a 45-acre waterfront complex that is a gathering place for an estimated 11 million visitors each year, making it the most-visited attraction in the region.  A two-level open-air marketplace featuring over 100 restaurants, shops and attractions, The Pier is surrounded by iconic views of the Bay and San Francisco landmarks.  Pier 39 also includes a five-acre waterfront park and 300-berth marina, which is home to the world famous California sea lions.
