Pablo Montero

The Stanislaus County Fair will finish strong this year with a performance by Pablo Montero on Sunday, July 22. The performance, hosted by Radio LOBO, will take place on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m. and is free with the price of Fair admission.

“It’s rare when you come across someone who is extremely talented at both singing and acting,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “Pablo Montero is a gifted artist who will close this year’s Fair with his amazing vocals.”

Montero began his career in music as a singer of rancheras and quickly became an international star within the genre. Influenced by his godfather, Vicente Fernandez, Montero debuted with his album, “Pablo Montero.” He then went on to release “Donde estas Corazon,” “Que Voy a Hacer Sin Ti,” “Pidemelo Todo,” along with many more. Montero is also known for writing many songs, such as “Olvidarte Jamas,” “Gata Salvaje,” and “Abrazame Muy Fuerte.” His great fame as a singer opened doors for him in the world of acting. He was the protagonist in the TV series, “Rebeca,” and also participated in soap operas like “Vivo por Elena,” “Nunca te Olvidare,” “Abrazame muy Fuerte,” “Entre el Amor y el Odio,” and “Duelo de Pasiones.” Montero was also a part of “Las 25 Bellezas Latinas” (The 25 Latin Beauties) from People in Spanish in 1999 and 2003. He has been a part of the most successful soap operas transmitted in Latin America, helping them become a success with his great acting. More recently, Montero released his new album under the label of Sony Music Latin titled, “No Te Quedes Con la Duda.” With it, he was able to appear on some of the most important TV programs of Mexico and the United States. Being such a talented artist in both music and acting, Montero’s performance will definitely be a night to remember this summer.
