With around 70 total participants in third through eighth grades, Escalon Elite put on a very successful youth basketball clinic on Sunday, Nov. 30 at Escalon High School.

The clinic – offered in two sessions – featured instruction on footwork, ball handling, passing, finishing and shooting. It was open to Escalon Unified School District residents. Students in third through fifth grades took part in the clinic from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; sixth through eighth graders attended the clinic from noon to 2 p.m.

Several Escalon High School coaches and basketball players worked with the participants in the clinic.
