Leonard Carl Smith passed away peacefully at his home in Escalon, California, on December 10, 2025, surrounded by his wife and children.

Leonard was a loving husband, father, and G-Pa who brought warmth, laughter, and steadiness to his family. He was born on September 9, 1963, and spent part of his childhood in Tracy, California, before moving to Saudi Arabia with his mother and stepfather. Living abroad for several years shaped Leonard’s view of the world and remained a meaningful part of his life and stories.

Leonard had a deep love for Star Wars, concerts, soccer, and NASCAR, and he was known for his strong work ethic and generous heart. He volunteered for many years at Collegeville Elementary, always finding joy in helping others.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 30 years, Lori; his children, Zuriel, Oceana, and Lux; his granddaughter, Liana; his father, Dayton; and his brothers, Tim and Mike. Leonard will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and the unwavering love he had for his family.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue, Tracy is honored to serve the Smith Family. A chapel service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026 with visitation beginning the hour prior. He will be laid to rest immediately following at St. John’s Cemetery, 17871 Carrolton Road, Escalon. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Del Rio Vista Garden, 25306 East River Road, Escalon. Chapel services will be live streamed via his tribute page at www.frymemorialchapel.com for family and friends unable to attend.
