John Robert ‘Bob’ Bobst, 80, passed away peacefully from pneumonia on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014.

He was born in Farwell, Texas on Feb. 24, 1933 and was one of five children born to Roy and Nell Bobst.

Survivors include three children, Kevin (Emilia) Bobst of Gilroy, Karen Torres of San Jose, Theresa (Carlton) Kreditor of Plumas Lake; and five grandchildren, John Albert Bobst of Gilroy, Artemisa Bobst/Borja of San Jose, Caitlin Torres of San Jose, Tyler Kreditor of Plumas Lake and Alyssa Kreditor of Plumas Lake.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Ilene Marie Bobst.

Funeral arrangements were by Deegan – Ripon Memorial Chapel. Visitation and Rosary were Thursday, Feb. 13 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Mass was Friday, Feb. 14.
