JOHN ANTHONY BAVARO obit

John Anthony Bavaro, 21, of Escalon, California passed away on December 19, 2025. His death came as a profound shock to all who loved him, but we trust that he is now at peace even as we grieve the suddenness of his passing.

John was born on June 4, 2004 to Lance and Amy Bavaro. He developed a love for tractors and vehicles at a young age and spent most of his free time riding dirt bikes, working on vehicles and learning to drive everything he could as soon as he was tall enough to reach the pedals.

He worked side-by-side with his father, grandfather, and friends helping run the family construction business. Known for his strong work ethic and kindness, he was always helping those who needed it. John enjoyed going camping with his friends, riding dirt bikes, spending time with his dog and hunting.

He is survived by his parents, Lance and Amy Bavaro of Escalon, his sister, Emily Bavaro of Hysham, MT, and his grandparents, Vito and Janice Bavaro of Escalon and Daryl and Janet Dyk of Ripon.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 27 at 20401 E. River Road in Ripon. Johnny loved his friends and having fun, in light of this please wear joyful colors rather than black as we celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, consider donating to: The Children’s Guardian Fund at PO Box 2455, Oakdale, CA 95361.
