Irene Evelyn McDonald, 80, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 19. She had been a resident of Escalon for the past 64 years.
She was born on March 16, 1930. She was adored by her children, Robert Collins of Escalon, Carolin Collins-Melogno of Manteca, Richard Collins of Omaha, NB and Debbie Brainerd of Knights Ferry; her grandchildren, Kelly Collins of Escalon, Lara Glebe of Stockton, Kevin Collins of Escalon, Jeff Collins of Ceres, Tammy Collins of Ripon; six great grandchildren and one great grandchild; her brother, Richard "Mac" McDonald of Gold Beach, OR; and her sister, Fay Ruth Peterson of Escalon.
Visitation was Sunday, May 23 at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon. Her service was on Monday, May 24 at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon with burial following at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.
