Dolores A. Castellanos was 94 years old at the time of her death on February 22, 2026. Born in Racine, Wisconsin, she spent most of her young life in San Francisco, CA. She also resided in Santa Clara, Forestville and Escalon, CA.
Dolores worked in her father’s real estate office in San Franciso prior to marriage to Felix Castellanos. She then focused on raising a family for the next several years. Later, she would become the Cosmetic Manager for Long’s Drug Store before retiring. While living in Escalon, CA she worked at Dent Elementary School as a Playground Aide. She relocated back to Forestville and took a job at the Classic Duck in Santa Rosa. She then was able to enjoy volunteering which was in line with her love of the Arts and helped out at the Luther Burbank Center of Santa Rosa, the Santa Rosa Community College Theater, and Food 4 Thought in Forestville, CA.
Dolores is survived by her oldest son, Steve Castellanos (wife Audrey). Her sons, Dave Castellanos and Thomas Castellanos preceded her in death.
She leaves behind five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren in addition to the other family members who loved her dearly.
Her siblings are: Rita Borelli, Cozenza, Italy as well as those who preceded her in death: Angelo Infusino and Barbara Polillo.
A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Escalon United Methodist Church at 11:30 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
