With the warmer weather, a nice cold cup of soft serve ice cream can really hit the spot and the folks at Stuyt Dairy Farmstead Cheese Company, LLC, have introduced some fabulous flavors just in time for summer. A new flavor-burst soft serve machine is now in operation, featuring flavors from Bubble Gum to Blue Goo to Cheesecake and Mocha Cappuccino, so there is something for everyone’s sweet tooth. The Stuyt family includes parents Rick and Ansally and their children, Nicholas, Anastasia, and Michelle and they know a thing or two about fine cheeses and creamy soft serve. They hosted an Open House on Thursday afternoon, June 5 to formally introduce the new soft serve feature at the cheese shop, 22000 East Mariposa Road, Escalon.
Ansally’s parents purchased the local dairy in 1965 and the rest, as they say, is history. From maintaining the dairy to introducing cheese making back in 2015, the Stuyts keep adding delectable treats to their menu for folks from far and wide to enjoy.
“We have had more people come out than we thought and our ice cream machine can’t keep up,” Anastasia kidded when noting the line of families that went out the door and curved around the corner during their soft serve launch party.
In addition to the soft serve, they also serve traditional Dutch Style Cheese along with various flavors of cheese including cumin, jalapeno, habanero, bacon and garlic herb, to name a few. Cheese curds and cheese spreads are also available in their gift shop.
The Mariposa Road location makes it easy for locals or people just passing through the area to stop and grab a quick treat that is sure to make their day – or their journey – a little tastier.
