Athletes Set Records
Annie Wild claimed Stan State’s first indoor track and field national championship with a thrilling mile win at the NCAA Division II meet.
Stanislaus State track and field teams also earned All-CCAA honors in 19 events at the CCAA Championships, hosted on campus. Jaevin Sawyer was named Men’s Freshman of the Meet, while four Warriors – including Annie Wild – claimed individual CCAA titles. Multiple school records were shattered, and six NCAA Division II qualifying marks could send the Warriors to the national championships in Colorado.

Coming Up
Stanislaus State will honor more than 3,000 graduates during four Commencement ceremonies May 29 and 30 at the Turlock campus, celebrating the 65th Commencement and the Class of 2025. The celebrations will highlight student success, resilience and community impact, with degrees awarded across all four colleges. Honorary doctorates will be conferred to former NASA astronaut Jose Hernandez and his father, Salvador Hernandez, during special recognition events on May 27 and 28.
