Go San Joaquin (GoSJ), San Joaquin County’s online hub connecting learners to career education and training, announced recently that the California State University, Stanislaus (Stan State) Stockton Campus has joined GoSJ as a regional partner.
The addition of Stan State strengthens GoSJ’s mission to bridge lifelong learners to industry by expanding access to local four-year degree pathways. As a regional partner, the university’s degree programs offered at the Stockton campus will be featured on the GoSJ platform alongside high school Career Technical Education (CTE), adult education, community college programs, workforce training, and employment resources – creating clearer, more connected pathways for students and adult learners across the county.
“Go San Joaquin was created to make education and career opportunities more visible, accessible, and connected for our community,” said Janine Kaeslin, Deputy Superintendent of Student Programs and Services at the San Joaquin County Office of Education. “Welcoming California State University, Stanislaus as a partner strengthens the regional pipeline from education to workforce and reinforces the importance of local, attainable pathways.”
Launched in 2024 through a collaboration between the San Joaquin County Office of Education, San Joaquin Adult Education Consortium, San Joaquin Delta College, San Joaquin Partnership, and San Joaquin County WorkNet, GoSJ serves as a one-stop shop for exploring education and training opportunities, connecting to employment resources, and navigating local programs through its Opportunity Locator Map.
“Stanislaus State is proud to join Go San Joaquin and collaborate with regional partners to expand access to education and workforce opportunities,” said Dr. Sarah Sweitzer of California State University, Stanislaus Stockton Campus. “This partnership reflects our commitment to strengthening local pathways, supporting student success, and meeting the evolving workforce needs of San Joaquin County.”
By joining the GoSJ Partnership, Stan State helps ensure learners can more easily identify pathways from high school CTE, adult education, and community college programs into bachelor’s degree opportunities, supporting economic mobility and workforce development throughout the region.
