Saturday’s Spring Market draws vendors, patrons

Lumberyard Cellars in Escalon was a busy place on Saturday, March 14 as the Spring Market was hosted on site, bringing plenty of vendors, live music and a good crowd to the site on First Street.

Offered from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., food and merchandise vendors ranged from local favorites Oliva Dawn Candle Co., Stuyt Dairy Cheese and Pencie & Ginger to handcrafted items including cutting boards and coasters by Corona Woodworking of Modesto through the products showcased by Austin Meat Service. Singer and guitarist Andrew Perez kept the crowd entertained as they enjoyed the chance to sip some wine and do some shopping in the relaxed atmosphere.

Staff members at the local wine tasting venue were kept busy throughout the event, with tables packed both inside and outside for the Spring Market festivities.
