The team at Pencie & Ginger in downtown Escalon is gearing up to observe “Two years of Love, Community and Gratitude” as they celebrate their anniversary next month.

They invite residents of Escalon and all surrounding areas to stop by and see them at 1725 Main St., Escalon, during this special event.

Featured will be promotions, special sips and sweets and interactive pop-ups from some favorite local small businesses.

The kickoff is set for Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a VIP Gratitude Soiree, and is an invite-only special event for the store’s most loyal customers. According to the invitation, it’s for those who have “shown up, shopped often, supported deeply” and helped build Pencie & Ginger over the last two years.

Each VIP, being notified by email, is asked to RSVP for themselves and can also bring one guest.

Events open to the general public are being hosted Thursday, Feb. 5 through Saturday, Feb. 7. Offered each day will be: Sip & Shop, featuring wines from favorite local tasting rooms: @lumberyard_cellars and @clarkferrea; 20 percent off storewide, and a free Oliva Dawn/Pencie & Ginger signature gratitude candle to the first five shoppers each day who spend at least $99.

Normal business hours for the store will be in effect but with additional special hours for Pop Up experiences. The Pop Up hours are:

Thursday, Feb. 5, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tiny Tattoos Pop-Up with Heather Ford of Scarred Hearts Tattooing. Fine line tattoos, tiny/minimalist designs; walk-ins welcome.

Friday, Feb. 6, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Felt & Feather – Branded Leather Collection. Purses, wallets, keychains and accessories. Hot branding iron personalization, monograms and custom designs. Also, Bronzed Beauty Bar – Ear piercings; walk-ins welcome.

Saturday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sweet Haven Cookies cookie pop-up.
