Officials have announced the cancellation of the 15th Annual La Grange Odd Fellows’ Catfish Dinner, which was scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 16, due to scheduling conflicts. It is one of the organization’s favorite fundraising events, and they’re hoping to find a future date.
The La Grange Odd Fellows will continue serving its popular monthly breakfast, always the second Sunday of the month. The upcoming Sept. 14 breakfast menu will include ham and cheese omelet, sausages, biscuits and gravy, and all you can eat pancakes, with complimentary coffee and orange juice. Cost is just $12 for adults, with special meal prices for kids.
The breakfast is served in the 1881 vintage IOOF Hall at 30018 Yosemite Boulevard in downtown La Grange. It’s the home of Lafayette Lodge #65, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, serving the town of La Grange since 1857. For information, call Chris at 209-853-2128.
