November calendar filling up with events
MARKET 11-5

Some special events are on the schedule for November, including a couple coming up on this weekend.

Escalon 4-H will be serving its annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., put on at Van Allen Elementary School, corner of Highway 120 and Van Allen Road. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages three to 10; those under three eat for free. In addition to the full breakfast menu, including the all-you-can-eat pancakes, there will be several items offered in opportunity drawings. The proceeds from the event benefit the Escalon 4-H Club.

The Fall Market at Lumberyard Cellars will be hosted from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., 1455 First St., Suite 4 in Escalon, also on Saturday, Nov. 8.

“We will have 12-plus vendors who are all local businesses plus live music and a food truck,” said Megan Webb of Lumberyard Cellars. “This is a chance for the community to support many local businesses all in one place.”

Multiple vendors are setting up shop for the afternoon and early evening, including Stuyt Dairy Cheese, Oliva Dawn Candle Co, Pencie & Ginger Austin’s Meats, Mazzeltov Farms Soap, Lads Home Ranch, Sweets & Dough Artisan Bakery, California Gold Olive Oil, Jewelry By Mamta, Spicy Sisters Salsa, Stella & Gray, and Corona Wood Working. Also on hand, the Mac Box Food Truck and live music by Jamie Byous.

Later this month, Stuyt Dairy Cheese will have its third annual Harvest Open House, set for Saturday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will feature shopping, coffee, samples, raffle prizes and more, with an opportunity to get some holiday gift giving ideas. Stuyt Dairy Cheese is at 22000 Mariposa Road. For more information, call 209-918-5690.
