Micke Grove Zoo, part of San Joaquin County’s Parks and Recreation Division within the General Services Department, has launched its newly redesigned website, offering a fresh look, improved navigation and expanded content for visitors. The new website provides an enhanced digital experience, making it easier for the public to explore animal information, conservation efforts, educational programs, events, admissions and hours of operation.
Designed to be user-friendly on both desktop and mobile devices, the site helps visitors plan their visit and stay connected with the zoo. Key features of the new website include:
• Streamlined navigation for quick access to essential information;
• Mobile-friendly design for on-the-go visitors;
• Expanded animal and exhibit pages with additional photos and videos;
• Improved visibility for programs, events and conservation initiatives.
The website was developed through a collaborative effort between Division staff and the Website Project Team within the County’s Information Systems Department, combining subject-matter expertise with modern design and functionality.
Micke Grove Zoo has long been a valued community destination, and the new website represents an important step forward in enhancing how the public engages with the zoo both online and in person.
