All in the community are welcome and encouraged to attend an Ash Wednesday service at Saron Lutheran Church, 1742 North St., Escalon on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

The service is scheduled for 5 p.m. and begins a multi-week Lenten Service series, every Wednesday through March 25.

Starting on Wednesday, Feb. 25, join in every week for a free soup supper at 6 p.m., followed by the service at 7 p.m.

Dates for the soup supper and service are Feb. 25, March 4, March 11, March 18 and March 25.
