The December meeting of the Oakdale Garden Club is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Community United Methodist Church, 1480 Poplar St., Oakdale.

This will be the annual potluck luncheon and the gathering is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start time. All area gardening enthusiasts are welcome to attend.

Some club members have signed up to decorate tables. In the past, some table decor has been very festive and very creative. President Michael Moore will lead the meeting with a recap of some of the projects and activities the Garden Club members have participated in this past year. There will also be a short presentation by Nancy Podolsky of OakdaleARTS about art in Oakdale, the next mural just approved and scheduled to be painted.

Oakdale Garden Club meets the third Tuesday of every month except January and July. Following this month’s session, the next meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m.
