Members of the Escalon Farmington Community Garden Club are getting ready for their first meeting of the 2025-2026 club year.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4 and is planned from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Escalon United Methodist Church. The church is at 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon.

Guest speaker for the meeting will be Lori Johnson with the topic “McHenry Mansion Gardens.”

The guest speaker is first on the agenda, along with snacks and then the business meeting for the group. There will also be door prizes. You do not need to be a member of the local club to attend; all gardening enthusiasts throughout the area are welcome.
