The next Oakdale Garden Club monthly meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 16 and club members are currently hard at work preparing for their upcoming Annual Garden Tour.

This year’s tour is set for Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This much-anticipated event showcases beautiful local gardens, creative landscaping ideas, and unique outdoor spaces for the community to enjoy.

The monthly meeting on Sept. 16 will begin at 10 a.m., being hosted in the Social Hall of the Community United Methodist Church, 1480 Poplar St., Oakdale. At this meeting, members will review featured gardens, confirm sponsors, and finalize auction items that will be available during the tour. The Garden Tour not only celebrates gardening creativity but also helps support community beautification projects throughout the year.

New members are always welcome to attend meetings, get involved, and share their love of gardening with others.
