Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 10 calls for service during the period Thursday, Jan. 1 through Sunday, Jan. 4. Incidents for the period of Monday, Dec. 29 through Wednesday, Dec. 31 were not available at press time. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, JAN. 4

2:44 a.m. – Vehicle accident reported, 31000 block of Combs Road; determined to be a single vehicle crash into an empty canal with two occupants inside the vehicle. Both were extricated; one patient was transported to San Joaquin General Hospital by Medic 80, the other was released against medical advice. The scene was turned over to the CHP.

8:19 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 400 block First Street.

4:24 p.m. – EMS call, 17000 block Seidner.

 

SATURDAY, JAN. 3

2:50 a.m. – EMS call, 1500 block Sophie Lane.

10:10 a.m. – Vehicle accident reported, Highway 120 and French Camp Road; automatic aid to Ripon. Determined to be a bicyclist down in the roadway, no assistance needed.

 

FRIDAY, JAN. 2

12:05 p.m. – EMS call, McHenry and River, determined to be no medical need.

12:55 p.m. – EMS, 1500 block Catherine Way.

 

THURSDAY, JAN. 1

12:24 a.m. – EMS call, 1400 block Walnut.

4:36 a.m. – Gas leak reported, 13000 block Robinson Road; it was determined that a water leak caused the pilot light to go out; assisted, propane turned off to residence.

3:28 p.m. – EMS, 16000 block of Steinegul Road.
