Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 20 calls for service during the period of Monday, Jan. 19 through Sunday, Jan. 25. Calls included:
SUNDAY, JAN. 25
8:53 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 1100 block California Street.
7:55 p.m. – Report of a structure fire, 1900 block Deborah Circle. Responding crews located a two-story residential structure fire with a fully involved garage, fire spread to the attic and second story of home. Additional units were requested from Modesto, Ripon and Stanislaus Consolidated fire departments. There were no reports of injuries. Escalon firefighters remained on scene until just before 1 a.m. Monday.
SATURDAY, JAN. 24
8:10 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.
1:16 p.m. – EMS, 24000 block Lone Tree.
5:49 p.m. – EMS, 15000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.
FRIDAY, JAN. 23
8:11 a.m. – EMS call, 1600 block David Drive.
11:53 a.m. – Report of power lines down, 17000 block Brennan; determined to be caused by a non-injury vehicle accident. Crews located a vehicle into a tree with wires down, sparks and smoke showing from a nearby pole. Scene turned over to PG&E.
THURSDAY, JAN. 22
7:58 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Escalon-Bellota and Mariposa; canceled prior to arrival, non-injury.
11:27 a.m. – EMS call, 21000 block McBride.
1:03 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1900 block Yosemite; canceled prior to arrival.
3:41 p.m. – EMS, 16000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 21
10:20 a.m. – EMS call, 1500 block Irwin Avenue.
11:49 a.m. – Vehicle accident, Santa Fe, cross of St. John, single vehicle rollover onto the railroad tracks with one minor injury reported.
2:47 p.m. – Lift assist, 21000 block of McBride.
9:38 p.m. – Carbon monoxide alarm sounding, 2100 block Coley, unable to locate any problems.
TUESDAY, JAN. 20
7:57 p.m. – EMS call, 29000 block Orange Avenue.
MONDAY, JAN. 19
8:14 a.m. – EMS call, 26000 block Buerer Lane.
9:31 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1100 block California; determined to be a false alarm.
7:10 p.m. – EMS, 21000 block Henry Road.
7:22 p.m. – EMS, 2500 block Jackson.
