Stuyt Dairy Cheese on Mariposa Road hosted its third annual Harvest Open House on Saturday, Nov. 22. Here, sisters Lizzi, left, and Tina Langum of Escalon look over the various offerings of cheese wedges, spreads and curds displayed in the cooler. They also took time to browse the gift items and joined many others in enjoying samples of cheeses, mustards, vegetables drizzled in olive oil and more that were served during the event. Many visitors also opted to indulge in a cup of the soft serve flavor swirl ice cream that is available and took advantage of the opportunity to get some early holiday shopping in. “We like their cheese and we’ve known them for so long, we just like coming out to support them,” Lizzi Langum said of the Stuyt family.
