The weather forecast looks promising for Saturday, with temperatures predicted to reach the mid-70s under sunny skies.
That should be just about perfect for the second annual Farmington Fall Festival, which is being offered Saturday, Oct. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The festivities will be set up in Jacob Strojan Park, on the grounds of the Farmington United Methodist Church, 25626 Elm St., just off Escalon-Bellota Road.
The festival is organized and sponsored by the EPIC, Everything is Possible In Christ, group that meets regularly at the church.
There will be more than 20 vendors on site with everything from jewelry to handmade items, plenty of food booths and opportunity drawings. There will also be informational booths set up by Farmington Fire Department and the Escalon Library, while the Farmington School Parent-Teacher organization will be on hand with a booth featuring a variety of items for sale.
Kids of all ages are encouraged to come in costume to take part in the costume contest.
The first festival, hosted last year, was a huge success and organizers said they wanted to make sure to bring it back for the community – and residents from throughout the region – to enjoy once again.
