Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 16 calls for service during the period of Monday, Aug. 18 through Sunday, Aug. 24. Calls included:

3:12 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 15000 block Henry.
SATURDAY, AUG. 23
9:17 p.m. – EMS call, 1500 block Yosemite.
11:57 p.m. – EMS, 27000 block Lone Tree.
FRIDAY, AUG. 22
7:51 a.m. – EMS call, 400 block Cardinal Drive.
8:45 a.m. – EMS, 1300 block Stanislaus.
9:51 a.m. – EMS, 2500 block Jackson.
12:24 p.m. – Vegetation fire reported, 28000 block Vine; responded to the scene and found approximately a half-acre of grass and rubbish on fire, extinguished.
3:49 p.m. – EMS, 2500 block Jackson.
4:37 p.m. – EMS, 400 block First Street.
THURSDAY, AUG. 21
1:06 a.m. – EMS call, 1400 block First.
3:13 p.m. – EMS, 17000 block Lawrence Road, canceled prior to arrival.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 20
4:25 p.m. – Vegetation fire, 23000 block Santa Fe; dispatched to a report of a small spot fire on the north side of the Stanislaus River. Unable to locate anything there, however, Modesto Fire Department was running a large incident on the opposite side of the river so Engine 1-4 remained on scene for fire watch.
5:33 p.m. – Vegetation fire, Highway 108 and Riverbank; assisted with mutual aid at a structure fire due to the previously reported Modesto Fire Department incident.
TUESDAY, AUG. 19

MONDAY, AUG. 18
7 a.m. – EMS call, 1400 block Dent.
9:11 a.m. – Power lines down, 900 block Clough; assisted with road closure and then released by PG&E.
8:31 p.m. – Outside fire reported, Highway 120 and Carrolton. Unable to locate anything in the area.
