Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 23 calls for service during the period of Monday, Aug. 11 through Sunday, Aug. 17. Calls included:
SUNDAY, AUG. 17
2:08 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 21000 block Sexton Road.
1:11 p.m. – Assist law enforcement at Highway 120 and Victory, assistance provided to dive teams with the recovery of bodies from a vehicle in the canal.
SATURDAY, AUG. 16
2:59 a.m. – EMS call, 26000 block Buerer Lane.
7:21 a.m. – EMS, 1500 block Mitchell; medical alarm activation, canceled prior to arrival.
9:57 a.m. – EMS, 19000 block Harrold.
2:40 p.m. – Water rescue, 23000 block Santa Fe; victim was located out of the water, no medical need.
3:40 p.m. – EMS, 400 block Valdapena Court.
3:46 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 2500 block Jackson Avenue. Determined to be a false alarm from a carbon monoxide detector.
3:53 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, 23000 block Santa Fe; two vehicles involved, one delayed patient and two minor patients.
FRIDAY, AUG. 15
9:53 a.m. – EMS call, 900 block Clough.
10:03 a.m. – EMS, 19000 block South Harrold.
5:02 p.m. – EMS, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.
8:37 p.m. – EMS, 20000 block Ayers.
THURSDAY, AUG. 14
8:38 p.m. – Vegetation fire, McHenry and River; dispatched for a report of a fire in an orchard in the area, unable to locate.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 13
10:18 a.m. – EMS call, 16000 block South Escalon-Bellota Road.
11:23 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Highway 120 and Sutliff; three-vehicle accident reported with two minor patients, transported by ambulances from the scene. CHP also responded.
6:22 p.m. – EMS, 20000 block East Ayers.
TUESDAY, AUG. 12
5:13 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Highway 120 and French Camp; automatic aid with Ripon Fire Department, assisted by providing manpower at the scene.
2:42 p.m. – EMS call, 20000 block East Ayers.
11:57 p.m. – EMS, 400 block First.
MONDAY, AUG. 11
1:40 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 3300 block Edgewood; determined to be false alarm.
3:32 a.m. – EMS call, 21000 block McBride.
9:20 p.m. – EMS, 23000 block Craig Road.
