Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 21 calls for service during the period of Monday, June 30 through Sunday, July 6. Calls included:

SUNDAY, JULY 6

10:21 a.m. – Vegetation fire, 18000 block Campbell; no fire located in the area.

11:25 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 1700 block Colombard.

6:38 p.m. – Smoke investigation, 18000 block Campbell; mist from sprinklers in the area mistaken for smoke.

SATURDAY, JULY 5

3:08 a.m. – Lift assist, 16000 block Lawrence Road.

4:35 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Escalon-Bellota and Dove; solo vehicle into a power pole with power lines and pole down in the roadway. Reported as non-injury.

7:30 p.m. – Structure fire reported, 22000 block McBride Avenue; crews arrived and found smoke showing from the garage of a single-family dwelling. Fire extended to a vehicle parked next to the structure, crews extinguished fire with no damage to home, through there was damage to the garage and vehicle.

10:50 p.m. – Vegetation fire, 18000 block Campbell. Approximately one-and-a-half acres involved with slow rate of spread.

FRIDAY, JULY 4

7:01 a.m. – EMS call, 19000 block Harrold.

10 a.m. – EMS, 1700 block Colombard.

3:05 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported, Dodds and Cometa; responded with Farmington Fire for accident, determined to be in Farmington district with no assistance required from Escalon crews.

5:23 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported, Escalon-Bellota and Mariposa; solo vehicle off the roadway, one delayed patient.

6:48 p.m. – Assist to CHP at Escalon-Bellota and Mariposa, removing vehicle involved in previous incident from field.

THURSDAY, JULY 3

10:35 a.m. – EMS call, 17000 block South Carrolton.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 2

9:18 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, River and Henry; two-vehicle non-injury crash reported, crews cleared roadway of debris and put down absorbent material. Scene was turned over to CHP.

6:48 p.m. – EMS call, 1700 block Irwin.

10:24 p.m. – EMS, 23000 block East River Road.

TUESDAY, JULY 1

10:36 a.m. – EMS call, 1000 block Escalon Avenue.

MONDAY, JUNE 30

4:43 a.m. – Lift assist, 27000 block Vine.

5:47 a.m. – Lift assist, 2400 block California.

8:37 a.m. – EMS call, 2000 block Swanson Drive.

5:21 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block Judith Way.
