Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 24 calls for service during the period of Monday, March 16 through Sunday, March 22. Calls included:
SUNDAY, MARCH 22
3:06 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 500 block Zinfandel.
2:19 p.m. – Lift assist, 500 block Tokay Avenue.
SATURDAY, MARCH 21
8:15 a.m. – Vehicle fire reported, South Henry and Santa Fe; fully involved trailer fire located upon arrival, fire extinguished by responding crew and the scene was turned over to a fire investigator.
11:43 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Henry south of Hall; two vehicle crash reported with one person pronounced deceased on scene by emergency medical personnel. Engine 1-1 crew assisted and the scene was turned over to the CHP. Officials at the San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office identified the fatal victim as Loretta May Larson, 91, of Riverbank.
5:14 p.m. – EMS call, 2300 block Reile Avenue.
5:40 p.m. – Public assist, 1500 block Fourth.

12:24 a.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Jackson Avenue.
6:09 a.m. – Lift assist, 400 block First Street.
10:47 a.m. – EMS, 20000 block Van Allen Road.
9:20 p.m. – EMS, 2200 block Jordanolo.

12:49 a.m. – Lift assist, 400 block First Street.
8:21 a.m. – EMS call, 16000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.
7:25 p.m. – EMS, 1600 block David Drive.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18
3:05 a.m. – EMS call, 12000 block Cometa.
6:15 a.m. – EMS, 1500 block Yosemite Avenue.
9:38 a.m. – EMS, 27000 block Vine.
11:21 p.m. – EMS, 1600 block David Drive.
TUESDAY, MARCH 17
2:02 a.m. – Lift assist, 27000 block Vine Avenue.
5:22 a.m. – Lift assist, 2000 block California.
9:55 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported, Highway 120 and Sexton; single vehicle overturned into a holding pond, responding crew assisted with extrication of one delayed patient, transported to San Joaquin General Hospital by Medic 80.
11:35 a.m. – EMS call, 800 block California.
3:16 p.m. – Outside fire reported, McHenry and River; under the McHenry Avenue bridge. Responding crew located an unattended cooking fire with no extension into the wildland area. Fire was determined to be in Modesto Fire Department jurisdiction; assisted.
7:19 p.m. – EMS, 19000 block Highway 120.
