Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 29 calls for service during the period of Monday, March 2 through Sunday, March 8. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, MARCH 8

11:23 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 900 block Westbrook Lane.

2:19 p.m. – EMS call, 22000 block River Road.

 

SATURDAY, MARCH 7

10:55 a.m. – Outside fire reported, 19000 block East Mariposa Road.

7:14 p.m. – EMS call, 20000 block Skiff Road.

 

FRIDAY, MARCH 6

9:51 a.m. – EMS call, 2000 block Jackson Avenue.

10:43 a.m. – EMS, 27000 block Carter Road.

11:58 a.m. – Gas leak reported, 2400 block Jessica Circle; upon arrival crews located a gas cylinder leaking, assisted.

12:23 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1600 block Main; two-story office building with nothing showing, determined to be a false alarm.

4:25 p.m. – EMS, 1200 block Lillian.

4:51 p.m. – EMS, 26000 block Lone Tree.

 

THURSDAY, MARCH 5

3:36 a.m. – Lift assist, 400 block First Street.

10:53 a.m. – EMS call, 800 block California.

11:48 a.m. – EMS, 25000 block Dodds Road.

4:02 p.m. – EMS, 1500 block Oakwood.

 

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4

8:16 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block California.

9:19 a.m. – EMS, 21000 block Santa Fe.

2:19 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1900 block Swanson; determined to be a false alarm.

2:48 p.m. – Broken hydrant, 3300 block McHenry; assisted Public Works with a sheared fire hydrant.

7:47 p.m. – EMS, 20000 block Bushka Road.

 

TUESDAY, MARCH 3

2:51 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 900 block Clough; determined to be a false water flow alarm.

7 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, North Ripon Road and Highway 120; automatic aid to Ripon Fire Department, canceled prior to arrival.

12:51 p.m. – Lift assist, 2200 block Vernon.

1:23 p.m. – Reported structure fire, 1200 block Lillian; upon investigation, no fire at location, determined to be a faulty surge protector.

1:38 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, 1200 block Plaza; single vehicle into a building with no injury. Scene turned over to Escalon Police Department.

 

MONDAY, MARCH 2

2:51 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

4:23 a.m. – EMS, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

10:12 a.m. – EMS, 16000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.

11:23 p.m. – EMS, 20000 block Sutliff.

11:44 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, River and Sutliff; vehicle into a power pole. Responding crew found that the vehicle went off the roadway with the power pole down across the roadway. Driver had fled the scene. Responding personnel remained on scene until the arrival of the PG&E crew.
