Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 20 calls for service during the period of Monday, Oct. 13 through Sunday, Oct. 19. Calls included:

SUNDAY, OCT. 19

8:26 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 1500 block James Street.

9:23 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported, Mariposa and Dodds; Engine 1-1 and Rescue 1-1 responded to accident in Farmington district, two vehicle accident with six patients. One fatality reported on scene; several other patients transported for treatment. Ripon Fire also responded to assist, along with several ambulance companies and Reach 2 air ambulance.

SATURDAY, OCT. 18

10:07 a.m. – Report of a structure fire, 2100 block Edmart; Engine 1-1 dispatched to the scene, no visible smoke outside, light smoke located inside due to a pot being left on the stove. Crews aired out the home and secured the residence.

11:12 a.m. – EMS call, 1500 block Mitchell.

12:54 p.m. – EMS, 2200 block Mission.

3:31 p.m. – Vehicle fire reported, Harrold and Highway 120; Engine 1-1 dispatched to scene. Determined to be a single vehicle accident, vehicle into a pole with no fire.

8 p.m. – EMS, 400 block Palomino Court.

2:42 p.m. – EMS call, 2200 block Mission.

2:48 p.m. – EMS, 26000 block Magnolia.

THURSDAY, OCT. 16

9:35 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 25000 block Ullrey Avenue; false alarm.

10:03 p.m. – EMS call, River and Burwood.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 15

6:51 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 25000 block East Jones; determined to be a false alarm.

9:15 a.m. – EMS call, 2200 block Jackson.

2:30 p.m. – EMS, 1500 block Glenwood Court.

3:02 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported, River and Carrolton; canceled prior to arrival.

3:31 p.m. – EMS, 14000 block French Camp, mutual aid request.

8:05 p.m. – EMS, 26000 block Buerer.

TUESDAY, OCT. 14

4:15 p.m. – EMS call, 2400 block Thaddeous; canceled prior to arrival.

4:56 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block Coley.
