Escalon Fire Calls 1-14-26

Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 23 calls for service during the period of Monday, Jan. 5 through Sunday, Jan. 11. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, JAN. 11

4:45 a.m. – Service call, possible hazardous materials incident, 1300 block Escalon Avenue; crew met with Escalon Police Department on scene and assisted with clean up of an unknown white powder in the restroom of a business.

8:02 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 2100 block Main Street.

9:17 a.m. – EMS call, 1500 block Judith.

11:32 a.m. – Vehicle fire reported, 1900 block McHenry; Engine 1-2 dispatched to scene and located a vehicle with an engine compartment fire, extinguished.

11:48 a.m. – EMS, 2100 block Main.

4:24 p.m. – EMS, 24000 block Mariposa Road.

5:47 p.m. – EMS, Highway 120 and McHenry; Engine 1-2 dispatched to scene to stage for Escalon Police. Assisted with medics on scene, patient refused transport.

11:47 p.m. – EMS, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

 

SATURDAY, JAN. 10

2:07 p.m. – EMS call, 700 block Danielle.

8:32 p.m. – Vehicle fire, 30000 block East Grooms Road; Engine 1-2 dispatched to the scene and upon arrival located a fully involved pick-up truck off the roadway, no one found inside the vehicle. Fire investigation unit also requested at scene.

 

FRIDAY, JAN. 9

7:23 p.m. – EMS call, 1400 block Genevieve.

7:48 p.m. – Structure fire reported, 17000 block East Cedar Avenue; automatic aid to Ripon for a chimney fire, the fire was out on arrival.

 

THURSDAY, JAN. 8

No calls logged.

 

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 7

2:59 a.m. – EMS call, 25000 block River Road.

3:16 a.m. – EMS, 25000 block Lone Tree Road.

8:38 a.m. – EMS, 1400 block Genevieve.

10:56 a.m. – Smoke investigation, McHenry and River; responded to a report of smoke in the river bottom; Army Corps and CalFire were on scene conducting a controlled burn for brush mitigation.

 

TUESDAY, JAN. 6

No calls logged.

 

MONDAY, JAN. 5

7:30 a.m. – Structure fire reported, 2400 block Matthew Lane; on arrival, nothing showing, determined to be a false alarm.

8:21 a.m. – Assistance provided, water removal from an office in the 1600 block of Main, caused by a leak from the roof.

1:42 p.m. – EMS call, Avena and Robinson; unable to locate anyone in need of assistance in the area.

6:56 p.m. – EMS, 22000 block Mariposa.

7:05 p.m. – EMS, 400 block Cardinal.

7:19 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 400 block California; determined to be a false alarm.

8:48 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block Chianti Court.
