Escalon 4-Hers return from AgFest with multiple honors

Members of Escalon 4-H exhibited their projects at AgFest earlier this summer. The group had exhibitors showing breeding sheep, market sheep, market swine, breeding and market beef, breeding and market rabbits and dogs and still exhibits and wood working. Due to the bird flu, the dairy and poultry projects were not allowed to show.

Exhibitor placings are as follows:

 

Breeding Week

Breeding Sheep:

Briley Silva – Two 3rd places with both weather dams, and 3rd place in showmanship.

Mikayla Buck - Registered Dorset yearling ewe 1st place, Fall ewe 1st place, Spring ewe 1st place.

Champion Ewe and Reserve Champion Ewe.

Weather Dams - Two 2nd places.

Breeding Showmanship - 1st place intermediate division then placed 1st in Advance showmanship.

 

Breeding Rabbits:

Mikayla Buck - 1st place in class and 2nd place in showmanship.

 

Breeding Beef:

Colton Anderson - 1st place in Cow/Calf class and then placed Grand Champion cow/calf.
